WHITE WINES

Concha y Toro Sauvignon Blanc, Central Valley (Chile) A typically fresh, lively Sauvignon with light gooseberry aromas and flavours. Less intense than a New Zealand Sauvignon, it is still fruity with zippy acidity. Wide River Chenin Blanc, Robertson (South Africa) Clean and bright Chenin Blanc, peppery and aromatic, with tropical fruit flavours of ripe fig and melon backed up with crisp, refreshing acidity. Amanti del Vino, Pinot Grigio, Delle Venezie (Italy)Pinot Grigio from northern Italy is the dry white wine of the moment! This one, from near Venice, is crisp, refreshing and unoaked, making it perfect for drinking before or during any meal. Alto Pampas del Sur Viognier, Mendoza (Argentina) With very ripe, apricot-like Viognier fruit this is full, flavoursome and wrapped in Argentinean sunshine! It is more full-bodied than many European examples. Rémi & Jérôme Chardonnay, IGP d'Oc (France) Ripe and balanced with lemony fruit flavours providing lift and a touch of oak to give weight and richness.

ROSÉ WINE
Amanti del Vino, Pinot Grigio Rosato, Veneto IGT (Italy) Soft, easy Pinot Grigio Rosé with juicy red strawberry fruit. From near to Venice and ideal to drink by itself or with a meal. Foxcover White Zinfandel, California (USA) Coral pink in colour. Delicate and refreshing with soft fruit flavours of Strawberries and peaches.

RED WINES

Concha y Toro Merlot, Central Valley (Chile) Bursting with cherry and ripe, red berry fruits intertwined with pepper and a touch of coffee bean. Elegant and medium bodied, this is an easy, pleasing all-rounder, delicious with pasta, ham and cheese. Wide River Shiraz, Robertson (South Africa) Easy going, soft red with plenty of spicy, peppery fruit, this has good hedgerow berry flavours and power. Shiraz is proving to be a very popular and successful grape variety in the Cape. Alto Pampas del Sur Pinot Noir, Mendoza (Argentina) The grapes are grown in higher altitude vineyards to keep freshness, so the wine shows fine, very pure New World Pinot fruit with typical leafy, raspberry flavours and soft, ripe tannins. Rioja Vega Tempranillo (Spain) A soft, fruity wine with plum and blackcurrant flavours, vibrant and juicy. Côtes du Rhône, Cuveé Tradition, Les Grandes Serres (France) This is a good, simple Côtes du Rhône: it has typical peppery flavours and light, fresh fruit that goes well with red meat and game.
